Sterling aka "Gringo" is a true cremello. Genetically, he has a double-dilution factor (over chestnut), so he is homozygous for the dilution facto. Sterling is therefore guaranteed to sire only cremello, palomino, buckskin or smokey black coat colors. Sterling is an athletic & pretty colt, well-trained under saddle. He has a long, silky white mane & forelock. Sterling's sire Rex is a palomino Quarter Horse stallion descended from Shining Spark. Rex was a great cutting horse, retired young due to injury. Sterling's dam Golden Highlights WNG is a beautiful palomino Arabian/QH cross mare, mostly Arabian-bred with Quarter Horse lines to Palomino.
